KRCL - New Season (2013)
Dear All,
Season 2013 had started in glorious sunshine ... with half a programme of fixtures being completed in lovely weather.
A full programme of fixtures this weekend ... unfortunately, summer may have been and gone !!
There are a few reminders as below. Unfortunately, I have been advised of 4 concessions for this weekend ... let's hope there are not more forthcoming. If there are, please ensure the correct procedures are followed (reminder as below, and in the Handbook).
As always, please ensure results and scoresheets are loaded correctly and in a timely fashion. Please ensure that points are allocated correctly, and ensure that you have the correct names from the oppostion scorebooks.
All Clubs should ensure that the details of fixtures on play cricket are correct. Please double check start times, and venues asap.
Clubs should also ensure that the necessary contact details are on their own websites.
All league players need to be registered. Please ensure that all registrations are completed before Saturday 4th May. Further details and instructions are on the website as below.
Now would be a good time to re-familiarise yourselves with the playing conditions and the rules of the league.
All Divisions will be playing 92 overs, with the exception of 1C (South Thames) and 2C (South Thames)- who will play the 80 over format. Further details, including bowling restrictions are in the Handbook.
If you are unable to fulfil any league fixtures due to lack of players, please ensure that the opposition and the League Fixture Secretary is advised accordingly. Guidelines are in the Handbook (Page 89/90). Penalties will be enforced if not adhered to.
And finally, apologies to the teams in Division 2B East. Due to a print error - your fixtures are missing from the Handbook this year.
Let's hope for a dry season, and plenty of enjoyable cricket.
Many thanks.
Cheers Brian.
